What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

I have learnt a lot about technologies from the process of creating our OTS, there is a range of technologies and websites listed below which i have used during the process. Before starting this project i knew a small amount about these technologies but now i can use all of them confidently and independently and create a good outcome from each one. Due to being the editor of our group i have learnt a lot more than i knew about the Mac computers and all of the applications within it, i am now very confident on Imovie and know how to use all of the tools and ways of editing within it and could easily produce a project using it. Before creating this project i did not know how to use handbrake and can now use it for converting video files and uploading them on to the computer.

I also did not know how to use Blogger or Wix and i now have created a blog full of posts and a website with different pages. We used a range of websites, most being ones i have used before but i never had used Vimeo or Prezi or created account and i can now have and can quickly and easily upload videos to Vimeo and create creative and interesting Prezi's. A technology i had never used before was the Marantz which turned out to be a key element of our OTS as we used it to record the voice over which tells the plot and narrative of our whole OTS and without it our OTS would be silent and people may not understand the story line as our feed beck group said that they were confused before it kicked in so it was a very important element. I had already used other technologies such as a video and digital camera and the Mac computers but after creating the project i know how to use all of these very confidently. All of these technologies and websites were extremely helpful whilst creating our OTS and we would not have been able to do it without them and we we're lucky to have access to all of these.
